DESCRIPTION:

This 5-minute interactive experience explores the "Four A's" of Alzheimer's Disease. The “Four A’s” of Alzheimer's is a mnemonic that refers to the four hallmark symptoms of the disease, as Alzheimer’s is more than memory loss. After each "A" is defined, this experience simulates how that symptom may affect someone's ability to do something as simple as play cards.

*Best experienced with audio on. Changes in your perception start small.*

BACKGROUND:

For AP Studio Art in high school, my inquiry question was "How can I portray the effects of Alzheimer's Disease on one's sense of identity?"

Ever since then, I've continued researching and investing myself in creating art to spread awareness about Alzheimer's Disease.
